After data analysis, it was concluded that there is a correlation between eye movements, speed and reading comprehension. The present investigation seeks to determine the influence of eye movements and their participation in the processes of speed learning and reading comprehension of children of higher basic education of an Educational Unit of Latacunga, Ecuador, The quantitative work methodology is attached to a design non-experimental, through a descriptive-correlational scope, using Pearson's correlation statistical method to validate the hypotheses. Teachers must have various strategies for developing speed and reading comprehension so that they can compete with what really contributes to the student. Infants as a fundamental educational axis need to reach maturity in their development, such as, for example, maturity in their neuropsychological processes, specifically in this case, in ocular saccadic movements. ![]()
